Common Score Questions

Q: My score dropped since last month. Why?

Scores can fluctuate due to:

  • New competitors entering the market
  • Your competitors improving
  • AI models updating
  • Changes to your business info (new reviews, updated hours)
  • Seasonal trends

Q: Can I game the system to get a higher score?

No. Our algorithms detect manipulation. Fake reviews, keyword stuffing, and black-hat SEO will hurt your score, not help it.

Q: Why is my competitor's score higher even though I have better reviews?

Reviews are only 25% of your score. They might have a better website (Content), more backlinks (Authority), or stronger technical infrastructure (Technical).

Q: How long does it take to improve my score?

  • Quick fixes (update listings, fix errors): 1-2 weeks
  • Medium-term (build reviews, improve content): 1-3 months
  • Long-term (authority building, backlinks): 3-6 months

Q: Is a perfect 100/100 possible?

Theoretically yes, practically no. Even the best businesses score 90-95. Perfection requires being #1 in every category, which is rare.
